Uses / Advantages:

- Strips insulation from wires and cuts wires cleanly.
- Useful for electrical installation, maintenance, wiring work, electronics repair, and general DIY electrical work.
- Suitable for wires in the common gauge range (approximately 12–24 gauge, or 0.5 mm² to ~6 mm²).
- Spring-loaded design with cushioned handles reduces hand fatigue and makes repeated use easier.

Limitations / Notes:

Suitable only for small to moderate cables/wires; not ideal for very thick or armored cables.
Proper gauge adjustment is necessary to avoid damaging the conductor or insulation.
For very heavy-duty industrial wiring, specialized cable cutters may be required.
